Gerd is caused by too much acid in the stomach. The reason so many people have this problem is that they do not eat right. Stay with a stict diet and you should be able to overcome heartburn, acid reflux disease or any other digestive problem that is related to your diet.
Also, avoid taking cortocsteroids or too many antibiotics. Certain medications can increase the acid level in your esophagus and cause major problems. You should also try to better control the stress in your life. Stress can cause chronic heartburn symptoms.
