Reflux Symptoms:
Acid reflux disease, also known as GERD, is a medical condition that results from gastric juices (acids), that travels upward from the stomach into the esophagus.
Heartburn acid indigestion, a burning type of pain and discomfort forced from the stomach, into the chest and throat area. This sensation has no affect on the heart itself.. It is a sign of reflux symptoms. Fire, or a burning feeling located in the breastbone area, it actually moves up to the throat, most people experience this sensation after eating, it can last for a short period of time to a few hours.
Regurgitation- this is also another reflux symptom of GERD. It is acid backing up into your esophagus. Some people experience a sour taste, or bad breath.
Nausea- especially immediately after eating a meal, worse if the meal is heavy. Or spicy, fried and very filling.
Dyspepsia, stomach discomfort. Feeling full, bloated and uneasy. Bitter taste in the mouth, happens when acids reflux backs up in the esophagus, and can reach up to the throat erea. This can also lead to bad breath.
Chronic coughing. Erosions of the esophagus, another acid reflux symptom. Lying down on the back which will cause the acid to back up into the throat. Tooth decay is also on the list of acid reflux symptoms. Erosion can occur due to the back up of acids from the stomach., into the mouth.
