A few other tips that are good for heartburn remedies are avoiding foods that contain a lot of fat and avoiding spicy foods. Both high fat foods and spicy foods weaken the valve in the esophagus and allow acid to splash into the throat which causes heartburn. Avoid fast foods especially as they contain high fat.
